I can't believe how time flies!

I can't believe how much my body has changed, and so quickly! I also can't believe there are 17 more weeks full of body changes to go!!!
So much has happened these past few weeks that I hardly know where to start. I can't believe it has been six weeks since I last wrote an entry!
We are now at 22 weeks and 2 days. We had our last scan for a long time last Friday which made us 21 weeks and 6 days. Baby is growing very well and they checked over all his body parts and organs during the scan. We are still measuring ahead in growth (by a whole week this time) but apparently that is still normal. We also had 110% confirmation that he is indeed a HE. Is it strange that I am proud of the fact that both sonographers have now commented on the impressive size of his bits? I like to call it motherly pride ;)
Here are some pictures from our latest scan:
I think this post is going to contain a lot of pictures... so be prepared for that. Please excuse the varying quality of some images as they were taken by either camera or phone.

Another thing that has been happening in lots of baby shopping and nursery organising.
Ben has been very involved and helpful. He single-handedly painted the nursery and chose and built our cot as well as building some pretty awesome shelves for me to go in the nursery. He truly is a gem, and makes all my imagined ideas come to life! I recently posted some progress pictures of the nursery on Facebook, but here are some more in depth ones just for you guys!
Didn't he do a great job! It looks so fantastic! The colours are perfectly suited to the rest of the room and complimented by the new carpet that we has installed a month or so ago now. Ben measured up all the lines perfectly and I am just so happy with how it turned out :)
It was great fun watching Ben build the cot. I cracked up when he read the instruction, as he is notorious for just diving right in and ignoring instructions in favour of doing it his way. I guess he felt this was a job worth doing right. He did an awesome job picking the cot (which was during a time that I was pretty much too sick to care) and it looks so perfect in the nursery. It is pretty comfy too!
As I am sure you can see, the nursery is well and truly coming along. I still need to purchase and/or create some wall art as a finishing touch but we are almost there. We already have sooo many baby things, and Ben has been great with me and my addiction to buying things for the baby. Everyone keeps telling me to slow down or there will be nothing left for anyone to get us for the Baby Shower... but I can't help it. I am addicted.
Speaking of Baby Showers, Ben is throwing me one and the invitations arrived today so they will be all ready to send out in the next day or so! I can't wait :)

I think I have covered a fair bit for one night, so I think that is me out for tonight! Thanks for reading :)
