So, it has now been about a week now since Ben and I found out that there will be another little Henry joining our family. Needless to say we are super excited and so so happy that Jackson will be a Big Brother!
I learnt an important lesson about telling Ben I am pregnant while he is operating a car... not the best idea!
With my first pregnancy I didn't first test until I was quite a few dates late with my cycle, and the result came back a BLARING positive. This time, I actually had an inkling that I may be pregnant and tested the day before my cycle was even due and got a faint positive. Today I am around the same length pregnant as I was when I first tested with Jackson, and the positive line is again very, very strong. Got to be happy with that!
Symptom wise, I was extra emotional and moody the week before my cycle was due. I mean, seriously emotional. The Good Dinosaur made me bawl the entire movie and I was adamant I hated Ben. I have had a few twinges, cramps and stretches and most recently (in the last 24hrs) I have had some pain which Dr Google informs me is likely 'Pelvic Girdle Pain'.
Ben and I had a good discussion last night regarding our options and the model of care for this pregnancy, which has been a learning experience as we are not as familiar with the QLD health system. I am hoping to get in to the Midwifery Group Program at the Mater and go from there...
Nothing much else to report.
