Maid of Honour: Laura Clark
Laura has been a constant in my life for over 10 years. While my first encounter with her was slightly daunting to a 10 year old out of her comfort zone, we became the best of friends and have been through alot together. Laura has a very contagious personality, full of laughter, love and enthusiasm.
Laura passed away on September 11th 2010. While we may not be able to see her at our wedding, both Ben and I know that she will be there with us. Rest in peace our beautiful friend. Xx
Bridesmaid: Emma Smith
Emma is my fantastic little cousin. I am so grateful to her for agreeing to be one of my bridesmaids and I appreciate the fact that I will have family by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid: Erin Hayes
Erin is the most recent addition to my list of 'Best Friends Forever'! She is fantastically unique both in personality and humor. She never fails to make me smile with her kookiness and has the sweetest disposition. I am amazingly envious of her beautiful (and natural) hair colour and am sooo excited and honoured that she agreed to be my bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid: Jessica Cossens
When we were younger, Jess and I rode our imaginary horses together, dipped our lamingtons in nutella together and lusted after Mr Darcy together. Jess has been present for so much of Ben's and my relationship, and has been very supporting along the way to us both. Jess is one of those people that both Ben and I count as a great friend.
Best Man: Matthew Henry
Matt has been my brother for about as long as I remember. He was always there, the older brother very supportive and encouraging. We have been in school together, worked together and lived together. Even after many an argument, we have shared an unbreakable bond. Matt was my immediate choice as my best man and there is no-one I would prefer.
Groomsman: Brent Nash
Nash and I were introduced through another mate, and there was no denying that we hit it off straight away. I got him into Scouting and he got me into Xbox, win win. Many of my best memories are chilling in the backyard of mum’s house with a half drum fire and my mates, and Nash always made an effort to be there.
Groomsman: Liam Wales-Brown
Liam has been a best friend since high school. Just like all my groomsmen, he has been like a brother to me. Even though he lived out of town and he is now living in Newcastle, he has always made an effort to catch up and remembered his mates.
Groomsman: Baden Rumming
The friendship between Baden and I goes back to primary school. Both our parents worked late at the school and we would play on the jungle gym. He and I would quite often hang out on mum’s veranda after work and relax with ping pong. Baden has always been there and has always been a friend no matter what the circumstances.
